UL506 and C22.2 No66-1988 Trans-tronic produces a large
standard range of toroidal transformers approved to UL506
and C22.2 No66-1988 on 23 core sizes, 15 of which are also
covered by our EN61558-1:1997 Agreement. Power ratings are
from 10VA to 1050VA.

Trans-tronic standard toroidal transformers are approved to:
EN61558-1:1997 (KEMA agreement 962307) on all 15 core
sizes(covered by our UL agreement).
Our KEMA agreement also covers: Custom transformer designs
on the same 15 core sizes and allows the inclusion of audio
grade transformer designs; Electrostatic/safety screens; GOSS
bands; thermal cutouts; potted centres; total encapsulation;
customised connectors; and reduced flux density transformer
designs.
Available primary options (for both standard range transformers
and custom design transformers) are: 110V, 115V, 117V, 120V,
220V, 230V, 240V, 2x110V, 2x115V, 2x120V and 2x0-110-120V.
EN61558-1 replaced EN60742 based on the international
standard IEC742 (also known as BS3535 in the UK and VDE0551
in Germany)
EN60601-1 approvals for a range of four mains isolation
transformer for medical use from 13VA to 1KVA (to implement
UL506 for transformers) was gained in 1997.
